About the artisT
Stephanie was born in Paris, France in 1995, then migrated to Singapore when she was six years old. She discovered her love for art in 2009 and has not stopped learning, sketching, and being creative since. She finds inspiration in everyday experiences, common objects, beautiful sceneries, connection with others, and through enjoying other people’s artworks.
A JOURNEY
In 2012, she stumbled upon the Zentangle® method. She fell in love with the art form and wanted to be able to teach it to others. Thus, in 2015, she and her mother, Joni Toh, attended the 21st Certified Zentangle Teacher Seminar in Rhode Island, USA. Upon their return to Singapore, they opened an art enrichment centre called "Everything Is Art". They wanted to empower others with the idea that they could be creative, too!
Stephanie started the Travelling Tangles Project in early 2016, to show how the Zentangle® method can bring people from around the world closer to one another.
Through her never-ending journey in art, Stephanie hopes to carve a little space of her own in this world.
